Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park and the Gold Discovery Park Association (GDPA) have resurrected a wonderful holiday event, called Coloma’s Historic Holiday Houses! All the houses in the State park that aren’t usually open will be open today, Nov. 30th from 1-5. Each will be decorated with holiday cheer and will have docents to educate you on the history of the building.
It is only $5 to walk through the historic holiday homes and costs $8 to park in the State park. Be sure to stop by the River Park Village between 4-5:30 for the 1st Annual Coloma-Lotus Christmas Tree Lighting! You can park at the River Park Village and walk down to the river behind the Lotus Post Office and Gringo’s. Sierra Rizing Bakery & Catering will be serving hot cocoa, cider and seasonal treats too!
