Men, called Mo Bro’s in this organization, pledge to raise money & awareness for Men’s Health during the month of MOvember (formerly known as November), and they grow mustaches. Yes, mustaches! Two of our local Mo Bros have been sculpting their ‘staches all month and have put together the 2nd Annual Men’s Health Awareness Movember Mustache Party & Auction, which will be Sunday Dec. 1st at 7:00pm, hosted by the Sierra Nevada House, located at 835 Lotus Rd. Please join the Coloma-Lotus Chamber of Commerce President and Vice-President (our local Mo Bros), Howard Penn and Dominic Pugliese for this fun annual event. Last year at the inaugural event they raised over $1200 for the Boys & Girls Club of Placerville, and this years auction is even bigger!
We have donations ranging from teeth whitening to housecleaning to massage and local art! Also, the owners of the Sierra Nevada House, Keith Merson & Kristi Warren, will be donating a portion of the proceeds from the bar sales to the event. This means that your glass of wine is for charity, and everyone can feel good about that!
