TrailFest 2014

Join us on Sunday, June 8, 2014 from 4pm to 10pm for the 11th Annual TrailFest to celebrate your favorite trails!  TrailFest is an annual fundraiser to help ARC grow and maintain local trails on the American River.  This year we are the “champions” of 2 projects:  development of a new trailhead and connecting trail at Salmon Falls Road (SFAR Trail), AND a connector trail between Henningsen Lotus Park and the Monroe Ridge Trail.

Purchase your tickets in advance to avoid the line at the door:  www.arconservancy.org/trailfest

This year we are featuring two great bands:  Patchy Sanders, a self-described “7-piece folk orchestra” coming all the way from Oregon; and Spark & Whisper, a talented folk trio.  $40 adult (21+) / $20 youth (8-20) ticket price gets you 2 drink tickets, dinner, live music/dancing and access to the silent and live auctions.  Kid’s Activities will include:  Face painting, mural painting, cork boat design and races, lavender crowns, marble roller coaster building and there will be bubbles and sand play for kids of all ages. This all takes place at the beautiful riverfront Earth Trek Expeditions Campground on the South Fork of the American River at 7308 Highway 49 in Lotus.

Enjoy great beer (Cool Beerwerks, Hoppy Brewing, Rubicon Brewing, Lagunitas) and local wine (Crystal Basin Cellars, Bumgarner Winery, Chateau Davell, Windwalker Wines, Hart 2 Hart Vineyards).  Bid on silent and live auction items, including gift certificates for massage therapy, gift cards for local stores and restaurants, round trip airfare for 2 on Southwest Airlines, Disneyland Family Passes, mountain bicycle from Placerville Bike Shop, a whitewater kayak from CCK, stays in local lodging and much more!

This is a family and community favorite event in the Coloma-Lotus Valley for over 10 years! Come check it out and make some new friends and river community! Cheers!
