Coloma Shuttle

The Coloma Shuttle is a program funded by a grant from the El Dorado County Air Quality Management District. Our goal is to reduce the emissions from motor vehicles by offering a cost effect shuttle service for the private recreationist and other visitors to the South Fork of the American River in the Coloma and Lotus valley.

Whether you are here boating, hiking or mountain biking for the day or camping at one of the many campgrounds here in the Coloma Valley, leave the driving to us. During the season we run 6 days/week, and you can choose from several pickup and drop-off times and locations.

Your daily membership fee of $10 per person includes a seat on one of our 14-passenger air-conditioned vans. Each van hauls a trailer rigged to convey your boats and gear safely from one of our many shuttle stops to your destination.

The Coloma Shuttle program is managed and operated by South Fork Arts and Recreation (SoFAR), a non-profit organization focused on arts, river access and recreational advocacy. Our mission is to have a private shuttle program that addresses the shuttle needs of the thousands of recreational boaters, hikers and bikers that visit our river valley each year in the effort to help reduce emissions and parking congestion in our valley. We couldn’t do it without you!
