Our Story: We are a family-owned, boutique winery nestled in the heart of the Coloma Valley, along Historic Highway 49 and the south fork of the American River. Our handcrafted proprietary blends and varietal wines reflect our commitment to producing the best of the best made from grapes sourced from our two Estate Vineyards and the finest vineyard sites in the region.
Owners Sherrie and Jim Everhart, have lived and loved the El Dorado Hills, Coloma-Lotus area for over 40 years. They began their exciting grape-growing adventure in 2008 as Hart 2 Hart Vineyards, when they purchased their first vineyard property. The property is nine acres of mature vineyards and “over 40 varietals”, growing on their own rootstock, high above the Salmon Falls road. This vineyard (Pilot Ridge Vineyard) produces the grapes for their unique Field Blends and exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon. In June 2013, the Everhart Family opened their winery, Everhart Cellars and Hart 2 Hart Vineyards, in the Coloma – Lotus Valley, where they grow, produce, and sell their Award Winning Estate Wines.
