Father’s Day BBQ at the Gold Trail Grange
Coloma is a great place to hang out for Father’s Day weekend! You can spend the day rafting and wine tasting, and then head on down to the Gold Trail Grange #452, in the heart of Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park, and enjoy a Father’s Day BBQ with friends and neighbors! The Father’s Day BBQ is on Sunday June 15th from 5:30-7:30 at the Gold Trail Grange. Adults cost just $8 and kids are $6.

Join us on Sunday, June 8, 2014 from 4pm to 10pm for the 11th Annual TrailFest to celebrate your favorite trails! TrailFest is an annual fundraiser to help ARC grow and maintain local trails on the American River. This year we are the “champions” of 2 projects: development of a new trailhead and connecting trail at Salmon Falls Road (SFAR Trail), AND a connector trail between Henningsen Lotus Park and the Monroe Ridge Trail.

Spring Hootenanny to benefit Coloma Junior Guides-Fri. Apr. 4th
Come enjoy the Spring Hootenanny to benefit the non-profit, Coloma Junior Guides Raft Camp Program. The Party Begins at 4:30 and goes until 10 PM on this Friday April 4th. There will be two sets of Music the first of which will start at 4:30. The second set will be around 6:30 until 10PM. The event is held at the Gold Trail Grange #452 located in the Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park.

2nd Annual Opening Day on the River-Sat. Apr. 5th!
Opening Day on the River is a celebration of the start of the Whitewater season on the South Fork American River. Starting with kayak clinics from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and concluding with a BBQ, Films, Raffle and Music from 4:00 – 10:00 pm, Opening Day is for all river enthusiasts. Water activities are at various locations on the South Fork; land festivities take place at the California Canoe & Kayak Outpost, 7221 Hwy 49, Lotus, CA 95651.

Two of our local Mo Bros have been sculpting their mustaches all month and have put together the 2nd Annual Men’s Health Awareness Movember Mustache Party & Auction, which will be Sunday Dec. 1st at 7:00pm, hosted by the Sierra Nevada House, located at 835 Lotus Rd.
