Since the fall of 1998 we have published an annual printed map and business directory. Our full-color Coloma-Lotus Guide introduces visitors to the valley. We operate and mange the Coloma.com and TheAmericanRiver.com web sites, providing information for visitors and community members. Our other projects include the annual Easter Egg Hunt in Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park, and supporting other community events and festivals in town. We donate money and other sponsorship assistance to local community organizations, studies, and events.
We represent our members and our community in many ways by participating at the county level with the El Dorado County Visitor’s Authority and other county business entities, as well as working with county administrative offices and elected officials to promote and support the Coloma and Lotus river valley. We have access to information about critical regional issues, legislative analysis and more and are are heavily involved in evaluating and advising on Caltrans’ Hwy 49 projects, with strong support from regional and county chambers.
We hold mixers and business meetings throughout the year and encourage all members and community members to attend.
